Endless Langkawi

It's been a while since the last post I put on here, I noticed that I do not blog much this month. The reason behind this is no reason at all. But for sure, I've been rollerblading a lot and been working as usual.

Today I'm sharing a new series of pictures taken by my Horizon analogue camera, which I have not used it for quite sometimes already. This time, I tried it with a green filter, see if it would be as what Vicuna have done before. Well, obviously not the same, but I still like the greenish effect that turned out.

This is one of my favourite shot among all horizon pictures that I've taken before. It was in Westin Langkawi Resort&Spa, I saw this long jetty many times since it's project was going on last year, but haven't got the right time to go there.

Far away, we can see a jetty hut. This jetty is reserved for VVIP who will stay in the Westin private Banglow.

The particular guest will be served with the best of everything.
I felt like I was a VVIP guest when I was there too. =P

This is inside Westin Langkawi, its outdoor walkway to the breath-taking beach.

And this is the VVIP banglow that I was talking about.

It's just like a gateway to the heaven.
I know that I am facing an endless trip to Langkawi as long as I stay in my company, because this 7-Star Resort&Spa needs a super high safety system to keep its reputation high.

1st Time Pinhole in my life

It was quite a surprising result for my very own first time experience shooting with a pinhole camera. Thanks to Sukeats who borrows me his Gakken Stereo Pinhole Camera. I only with the middle pinhole to try out the wide angle and the effect of this camera.

And here are the pictures that the camera produced:

Night shot at SS2 McDonald's, with amazing light leak.
Hole was opened for about 3minutes.
It's also my favourite shot.

Indoor shopping complex, 2minutes.
Look at how wide this camera could see.

7-11 at Link bridge to Time Square with walking crowd.
30seconds exposure.

And it was me sleeping... Exposed for 3minutes?
No, no, no~!!! Not 3, not 5, not 8 minutes.
It was planned to be a 20minutes exposure, but ended up falling asleep and hole was eventually closed when I woke up 8am in the morning.
So, almost 8hours exposure!!!

The rest are random attempts,

20seconds for sunset behind my house.

2minutes for my dinner.

About 5minutes in my room around 3pm.

Double exposure.

Dinner in a restaurant, 3minutes.

Living room for... I think it was 4minutes.

I can't remember this, and I can't see what is there.

4 - 5minutes after skating in ShahAlam Skatepark.

Vertical shots are really superb as well.
Shot of Time Square Shopping Complex, 2minutes.
And my invisible wardrobe, 5minutes.

Now come to talk about can a pinhole camera shoot something in action or not, I think the answer should be a "NO!" at the moment.

This was supposed to be my grinding a royale in the rail.

A trick and a pose...

No, not for action shot. Not even a movement capture.

It can be everywhere.

WL33 : ASNH : SASP : 26042008

On the same day, as Mary was working on her interview.
Here are some other super shots of our skaters in action.
Obviously, the one who made to the head image of this post was the man of the day!

Shine from the sky, that's Bala the Bushman!

Great smiles of Sukeats and Bala.

Edosh gears up.

Edosh applying sun lotion to Nick.

Nick went high and made this move.

And his super launch to backside royale.

That's all folk! Be a good boy, rollers!

MaryGoRound Interview Day

It was an almost going to rain day on the 26th April 2008, but Mary and WeiMing fought the "God of Weather" for not to rain. Eventually, they did it.

And the interview went smoothly under the hot sun.

However, Mary got worry about her skin tone would get tanned, so the other crews. But they really worked hard to get things done quick and easy.

After the interview with Hooi, and they took a picture.

Then started the second interview with WeiWei, and this time they did it under the shades.

Faye and WeiWei.

WeiWei was the temporary instructor while putting my beloved Xsjados.

Mary decided to put on my old rollerblades, and I guess it was her 1st time to ride on.

About 10minutes later, Mary could actually roll all by herself. That was truly remarkably, huh?

That was the happy Yeppy expression of her, she was really satisfied upon her skill that day. Congratulations!!!
"But if you feel more confident, you can try to do 360 topsoul..." quote from Meme, Haha!

Faye the Mary and WeiMing the Director, I supposed.
Thanks for your interview and thanks to JiaYu Channel. Thanks to the cameraman and all the crews, although not many.
Thanks to Mr. Chee for giving me an opportunity to be in the interview.

Wait... What is all this about? Alright, you saw Mary, you saw me, you saw rollerblading, and you saw the Shah Alam Skatepark.
Then you should not forget to watch "MaryGoRound" on JiaYu Channel at ASTRO channel 304 on the 18th May 2008, 6:30pm.
